BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST INTERN (Summer)

Job Description As a Business Systems Analyst Intern for Williams Sonoma, you will be working with users to identify opportunities for new processes or for process improvements, and will execute ideas by designing solutions, working with development teams, assisting with UI and Database development, and developing training material.
Essential Job Functions:
o Studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formats.
o Design new applications by analyzing requirements, constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications.
o Design Web UI and DB models using non-functional prototypes.
o Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements.
o Manages project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
o Provides references for users by creating user documentation and training users.
Preferred
Qualifications:
o Experience as an analyst preferably in supply chain o Database design with understanding of normalization concepts o Able to read and produce UML and ERD diagrams.
o Understanding of the SDLC o Basic knowledge of web development conceptsPreferred Soft Skills:
o Able to work in a team environment or independently with little supervision o Able to communicate with business team o Strong problem-solver o Strong communications and interpersonal skills o Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills Williams-Sonoma, Inc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
