Merchandising Manager

Develop, prepare, and execute revenue-generating web-based marketing campaigns, ensure all products and Marketplace merchant's promotions are correctly displayed and optimized on our website and any associated marketing vehicles, and be responsible for the soft dollar contribution from our merchant partners to drive their respective product and brand. Responsibilities/Duties Develop effective merchandising programs to enhance overall Marketplace sales performance as well as helping merchants promote brands and products at Newegg.com. Coordinate with External Marketing team to execute banner spots, marketing exposures for Marketplace merchants, and develop top-level merchant relationships to facilitate and reinforce partnerships. Product Merchandising on high impact campaigns (i.e. managing daily deals or similar type of exposures). Evaluate and identify deals for external advertising. Manage key tab or category stores. Manage Marketplace merchandisingbudget, validate the expense on highest performance items. Review key competitor sites on a daily basis and using info to more competently merchandise our site and marketing vehicles. Maximize income of Market Development Fund (MDF) and other merchant incentives through innovative merchandising program initiatives and effective selling. Responsible for accurate tracking and utilization of MDF and Co-op accounts for merchants. Increase participation and funding levels for all assigned vendors equal to or greater than company forecasts. Proactively work with Marketplace Product Managers to ensure and plan proper procurement of product stock as it relates to merchandising programs and goals, and to produce successful promotion programs. Develop and implement merchandisingreporting such as performance measurement reports. Identifying production and supply difficulties and deal with them as and when they occur. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Special Attributes Bachelors Degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Economics, Communication or similar field or 6 years of marketing experience, must be knowledgeable about various e-commerce marketing opportunities as well as traditional media in lieu of bachelor's degree. 6+ years merchandisingexperience in a retaile-commerce environment, with experience dealing with general merchandise industry retailers. Experience managing merchant P&L including MDF and Co-op accounts and utilization. E-marketplace experience is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Goal oriented and planning driven. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Excellent analytic, organizational and coordination skills Detail-oriented self-starter with a positive attitude who is deadline and results oriented. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
