Job Description Project Manager - Engineered Products ITT Goulds Pumps is among the most widely recognized and respected brands in the global pump industry, serving customers in the oil and gas, mining, power generation, chemical, pulp and paper, and general industrial markets. As the only manufacturer to make digital monitoring standard on every process pump, ITT Goulds Pumps continues to lead the industry in both mechanical pump design and the adoption of smart technologies. Lifecycle ownership of Engineered Product Orders (aka, contracts) from completion of order entry through collections. This includes documentation accountability, schedule accountability, commercial accountability, margin reporting, with cycle time improvement through all processes. Project Manager - Engineered Products III: will manage project execution for high specification engineered orders for oil and gas customers including decision making to ensure both ITT Goulds and customers best interests are represented for proper completion of orders. Major Responsibilities Documentation Ownership and Accountability : Communicate document plan and submission dates with the customer, and obtain agreement on discrepancies.  Follow-up with document providers to ensure submittal dates.  Review returned drawings and initiate necessary actions.  Objective is a high level of On-Time-Performance and Customer Satisfaction as well as completion of all documentation requirements to ensure no interference with on-time payment.  Work with Document Technician to meet objectives, however, accountability is retained by the Project Manager.     Schedule Accountability: Manage Schedules to determine earliest possible shipment in light of customer requirements.  Schedule internal tasks and milestone dates, effectively communicate schedules to sales and customer, track status on key components and tasks, issue customer status reports, coordinate customer /inspector visits, minimize schedule impact on internal changes/errors, report/escalate issues to management.  Proficiency is required is using AS400 options SF0008, IN0210, PO0150, ING612, MS0825, and other options.  Software tools such as Microsoft Project may be used.  Objective is a high level of On-Time-Performance and Customer Satisfaction.     Manage & Negotiate Liquidated Damages throughout the order life cycle.     Commercial Accountability : Review customer Purchase Order and T&C documents ensure compliance with IP Commercial Policy.  Initiate and follow-through on customer required commercial documentation (i.e., insurance certificates, performance bonds, letters of credit, lien waivers, order signatures), own process for special requirements which may include pro forma invoicing (i.e., manage progress payments), and assist the FRC with collections issues through the GetPaid tool.  Objective is to minimize IP commercial risk, maximize cash flow, and reduce DBO.     Margin Management : Proactively manage margin through the entire order life cycle.  Compare margin percent/dollars at order receipt and against final shipment.   Specific actions include, minimizing errors, negotiating order requirements and Terms and Conditions, delivery penalty avoidance and maximizing profit on customer changes while maintaining customer relationships.     All duties are cycle time sensitive with the objective to reduce processing time, move quality product out the door, and obtain payment within the shortest possible time frame. Being able to manage time, schedule workload, and to multi-task is critical.     Maintain & update all required reports. (i.e. Progress Payment Reports, Orders > $ 500 K report, Orders greater than > $ 1,000 K report, etc.)     Travel in USA and to Foreign Countries may be required to meet Customers, Engineers, Users.    Skills and Experience Education: 4 year technical (engineering, preferred) or business degree and/or equivalent experience; MBA a plus   Experience with: minimum of 5 years experience with one or more of the following: Order processing, order management, contracts/project administration in a manufacturing environment; previous experience as a contract administrator, contract engineer or project manager helpful; supervisory experience a plus Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:     Strong Organizational Skills     Strong Leadership Skills     Strong Communication Skills     Strong Time Management Skills     Good Customer Service Skills     Good Negotiation Skills     Good Ability to Multitask     Must be a Team Player     Technical product knowledge a plus     Knowledge of industry standards such as API, ASTM, HI, ASME a plus     Understanding contract terms and conditions a plus     Knowledge of Export terms & conditions Project Management cert. a plus     Proficiency with Excel, Word & MS Project     Project Manager III:     International experience a plus; Technical Product knowledge; Understanding of technical specifications and requirements; foreign language a plus (Spanish preferred) 8631BR

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
