Position
Summary:
Operates equipment related to production of extruded pharmaceutical plastics.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Sets up, operates, and provides minor maintenance to extruders, grinders, palletizers, and all support equipment
Performs quality inspections and tests. Cuts rolls, weighs and prepares roll tickets. Monitors and measures silo levels.
Is familiar with all technical and departmental terminology
Assists with training of other departmental personnel
Diagnoses and troubleshoots common operational and quality problems and makes necessary machine adjustments to correct
Calculates limits, applies to charts and interprets SPC data and calibrate all feeders
Prepares production logs, product tags, and time cards as necessary
Operates scrap grinder as required and understands recycle system
Transports raw material to and from warehouse
Experience with any type of extrusion machinery. Pay DOE
